Great great wine! Smooth easy drinking. Loved it. — 10 years ago
2005 vintage. At lunch with Pierre Lurton at Chateau D'Yquem. Medium golden hue. Quite restrained on the nose - poached peaches, stewed apricot, saffron, sweet spice, wet stone minerality. On the palate, medium plus acidity - far less than 2014, medium sweet perception, great liveliness and energy. Good angles. Not as long as the 2014, but more body. Drink 2019-2035. — 8 years ago

Sometimes you don't want to analyze, and just enjoy. This was one of those moments. — 9 years ago
Boyz Raveneau tasting. Light straw color. Honeyed nose with light fruit. Soil and stone notes in the mouth to go with lovely Chablis fruit Tight at first but really opened up nicely. — 10 years ago

Very good wine from CB. Nice balance to it, lots of flavor. Had it with a nice steak. Great pairing. — 9 years ago
Initially spicy like a zin, but after breathing it mellowed out and was quite delicious! — 9 years ago

Really delicious Pinot. Burgundian style. Elegant. Cassis and muted earth. Amazing for the original price. This 2011 is long gone. Paid under $40 several years ago. Wish I had another. Hear my Dad saying in my head "Always buy two..." 😀 🍷 — 7 years ago
