We bought this bottle in Alba, while on a Stanford hiking trip through the Langhe. After 4 years, we opened it, and found a dark colored, light fruity wine, which was also quite dry. A great complement to a pasta meal. — 7 years ago
Trying out Stanford Wine Class. Pulled out three Pinots to taste test. I *loved* the old Kistler Pinots with their dark color, thick jammy viscosity and forest floor notes. The shift towards a lighter more typical Pinot while nice just doesn't make me go wow. It's nice but just that. — 7 years ago

Now this was good... Cherry and spice that I can't name.... Me, Mone, and Dom P. ...and yes, that's my daughter's polar bear. Tips for all you dads, bring the stuff animal with you on the business trips and text your daughter picks... I need her in Stanford someday and not a strip joint!!! — 9 years ago
Brazilian steakhouse and a night tour of Stanford 🌲 🏈 . Thanks for the great hospitality Michael & Henrik, look forward to more visits.
Now the wine:
Raspberries, floral notes, toasted oak, light body. Paired well with the filet and skirt steak. The Pelissa vineyard is located on Oakville Crossroads directlybehind the family winery, creating this Estate grown & produced Zinfandel. — 7 years ago
Served at a Stanford hiking trip of the Italian lake country. Dry, with stone fruit flavors, perfect for a dinner which featured fish and cheese.

A fine somewhat restrained Cabernet but still stands up to a good ribeye. Opens up well. — 8 years ago

Awesome. Paired with take out sushi / sashimi ... no appetite for cooking after family in for 3 days. This Nebbiolo works after dinner too paired with board games with the kids and (8) Notre Dame vs (21) Stanford — 7 years ago
