On day 2 the nose is rich and full of gras, exotic fruits and intense minerality. Little bit of new wood peeking through as well. Palate is juicy, round and so clear. Brilliant clarity on this. Lovely finish and stunning purity here. 9.4 to 9.5. — 4 years ago

Boldly and marvelously fragrant, with ripe cherry, blackberries, almond paste, cinnamon stick, and hints of cloves, spicy mint, and warm tires on the nose. Dark cherry, juicy plum, raspberry on the palate with notes of milk chocolate giving way to sharp scratchy mint-tea tannins and a hint of bacon fat emerging with black peppercorns on a long finish.
