New one for me a dessert wine caramel and passion fruit, smooth much better than standard dessert wines that no longer innovate — 6 months ago
First thing I notice is the golden color. Very floral, white flowers, can smell the green stem of a flower. Smells very hot, with mineral/shell/slate. Also smells sweet, honey suckle, and butterscotch. Must be oaked at least slightly. Tastes hot, high acidity, citrus notes/grapefruit. Very juicy as well, in guava, pineapple, tropical fruits for sure, and green grapes. Also low mouth feel, aka thin, but it is refreshing. I've never tried either of these grapes and really enjoy it. Pretty complex and tasty! — 9 years ago
Best wine on Christmas Eve. Such great balance. Tons of fruit and earth and minerals and goodness. Great with food. — 5 months ago
Delicious cremant. Smooth and rich, dry. Gitane - Christmas Eve — 5 months ago
Toasty yet flinty — a year ago
Surprisingly precotious, with aromas of hazelnuts and drying fruit. A sense of oak with a little hint of vanilla, perhaps telling of a bit of new oak in the mix. Quite big bodied, high acidity and a smooth texture. Two years on the lees, long finish. — 4 years ago
A complex Chardonnay that really is wonderful to drink. — 7 years ago

All kinds of salty mineral goodness. Best to let open up in the glass for 20-30mins. Let it develop along with good conversation with friends or family. #wheninparis — 9 years ago

Demi-sucre vraiment bien après souper — 6 years ago
Gripping, austere, reductive, mineral-laced and utterly cerebral. That describes the general appeal of this very well-crafted entry level bottling. But it remains expressive, aromatic, lifted and graceful. This vintage has proven to be one of the best gateways into serious and traditional Burgundy wines for many of my customers, earning it a couple of extra points from me. — 7 years ago
Paul Masson
All of the varietals come through but ultimately this is defined by its Pinot Noir polish and elegance. Light-bodied but with lively complexity of red fruit, spice and mineral. — 5 months ago
