Good enough for spaghetti and meatballs. — 6 years ago
Smooth and easy to drink. Very distinct smell of a flower pedal, especially on the cork. Enjoyed with spaghetti marina. — 7 years ago
Very good! Paired with chicken parm and Bionaturae durum semolina spaghetti... Pablano Farm Pasta sauce — 8 years ago
Long earthy finish, some berries, well blended. My Family and I enjoyed this wine with spaghetti and meatballs! — 8 years ago
This wine took an hour to get going. Darker expression of Sangiovese without a doubt. The nose was licorice, flint, and ripe raspberry. The entry was raspberry, truffle, darker berries and foresty in the middle. The finish has an herbal note with black cherry. Grilled meat, medium tannin that was pretty stiff. Tasted like a cab/merlot blend but I believe this one is sangiovese. This wine really showed well with a Mediterranean herb gouda, and went ok with the spaghetti although I think the herbs in the spaghetti sauce didn't go well with the herbs in the sauce. If pairing with herbal anything, these Toscanas are sometimes a bit tricky. Interesting wine for sure. — 9 years ago
One of the few times I gave a wine time to open up and decanted it. Very smooth and even my husband enjoyed a few sips (not a wine drinker). I have a few bottles of 2019 and am wondering how they will compare — 5 years ago
Well balanced, fresh and just perfect with spaghetti allá burata. — 6 years ago

Nice Rhône. Body and structure. Enjoyed with a hearty spaghetti and meatballs with good red sauce. 4/18 — 7 years ago
Exceptionally mellow and smooth Nebbiolo dominant blend. Notes of sour cherry and raspberry with mild acidity but enough to provide some backbone. Paired well with penne, Italian sausage, and veg in a creamy tomato sauce and the spaghetti & meatballs. $17 @ Houston Wine Merchant. Addendum: After an hour of being opened, the acidity is more prominent. Positively mouthwatering. Love it. — 8 years ago

Makes spaghetti night special. — 7 years ago
I won this random brunello in a charity auction as part of a lot with some Bdx and Burg that I actually wanted. Popped it tonight with spaghetti bolognese and it was actually pretty damn enjoyable. Big wine for sure, but smooth and not too hot despite 14.5% alcohol. Ripe raspberry and black cherry, dried fig, cedar, potpourri, some sweet wood that’s well integrated. Polished and fruit-forward, not exactly what the cool kids are drinking but I had a decent time. — 7 years ago
This wine was more than I expected! Robust tannin/oak structure. Leather and dark fruit — 8 years ago
