Voluptuous and a real treasure. Premier Cru Chardonnay from 2013 pressed and inoculated. Aged 10 years. Very velvety and layered in the mouth showing apricots, honey, white flowers and candied fruits. Great length and complete. — 7 months ago
A glass before dinner. Really fell in love with this producer during my visit in October 22. I like the style of their cuvées and their neutral wood use. They are a producer that ferments in wood more than most.
The nose shows; overripe pineapple, very ripe yellow peach, Bosc pear, mix of red & green apple, white citrus blend, touch of apple cider, brioche, bread dough, saline, sea fossils, withering yellow lilies and spring flower bouquet.
Nice mouth entry, juicy and round. very ripe yellow peach, overripe, juicy yellow peach, nectarines, ripe Bosc pear, mix of red & green apple, white citrus blend-white & pink grapefruit dominant, touch of apple cider, some marmalade, honey notes, brioche, bread dough, vanilln & caramel hues, baguette crust, saline, sea fossils, understated, soft chalkiness that presses the palate on the long set, soft raw ginger, white pepper, withering yellow lilies and spring flower bouquet, round rainfall acidity, nicely, structured, well tensioned, balanced & elegant finish that lasts a full minute.
Perfect w/ Almond Tart finishing.

I have really come to embrace this producer since my October 22 visit to the property. Beautiful champagne that is generally fermented in neutral small & large barrels/vats.
Starts w/ lemon, pineapple, lime, kiwi, white stone fruits, green apple, touch of tangerine & grapefruit w/ light sprinkle of sugar, cream, light white spice, crushed limestone w/ chalk, sea fossils, saline, light yeastiness, bread dough, sprinkle of dry herbs, spring flowers, jasmine, spring flowers & a touch of yellow lilies, nice crisp acidity with a structured backbone, nice tension, very well balanced and an elegant polished finish that lasts just under 90 seconds. — 15 days ago
