Traditional Bordeaux-Style blend. Very dark ruby color with slight hints of purple. Savory aromas of earth, baking spices, herbs and black cherries. Ripe plum and black cherry flavors with additional hints of baking spices, tobacco and dried herbs. Pleasant creamy vanilla oak note on the long finish. Dusty tannins and well balanced. Opulent, complex and still quite fresh for a ten year old wine. — 8 months ago

Purchased wine during visit to the winery’s tasting room in Los Olivos in 2021. Syrah-based blend sourced from seven cool climate vineyards. 95% Syrah, 4% Grenache and 1% Viognier. Black, blue and red fruits with notes of meat, tobacco, smoke and garrigue. — 7 months ago
Deep currant red; smoke on the nose with blueberry and spice; ripe palate with time has become lush with a pastille quality and ripe, finishing tannins. This evolved substantially over two hours open. — 3 years ago
Simply delicious. Nice fruit nice finish very happy right now — 4 years ago
A really good red blend. Rich, fruity Cabernet forward wine with a great finish. — 4 years ago
Lots of forward fruit, red currant and blackberry. Subtle mid palate. Just a nip of tannins on the finish. Overall smooth and easy drinking. — 5 years ago
The Stones Speak. Did they ever! Full bodied, dense concentrates of decaying fall leaves after a fresh rain shower drenched in minerals, fine polished fully integrated tannins almost leaving a sweet edge. All secondary and tertiary notes. No distinct fruit to be recognized. It was like drinking extracts squeezed from the river rock on which they grow the Syrah. A flavor explosion as soon as it hits your mouth. — 3 years ago
Love this blend! Oaky cherry nose, notes of cranberry and cherry. Light peppery notes. A favorite! — 4 years ago
