Medium lemon color, aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral, honey and flinty mineral notes, aged 9 months in Stockinger Pincheons, then 6 months in stainless. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with citrus and floral wrapped in a nutty vanilla spice. Long finish, lively acidity, ending with fruit, toasty oak, spice and savory citrus character. — 6 months ago
Good fruit, strawberry, touch of lemon, peach and cream (?), good acid but not at all tart, honeydew, citric and malic notes on finish. Dry but not bone dry. Complex but missing savory and mineral notes from previous vintages, oh well, drinkable enough why wish for the moon? — 9 months ago
Very nice! Best Can from Washington state I’ve tasted. Smooth heavy mouthfeel but bold fruit taste. Chocolate and red berry tones. — 3 years ago

Love this blend! Oaky cherry nose, notes of cranberry and cherry. Light peppery notes. A favorite! — 5 years ago

Concrete fermentation 6 months + 1 month stainless. Bright, white flowers, peach, honey, nectar. — 6 months ago
North-South plantings with less pruning against late-day sun (thinned on the South side). 30% whole cluster grapes. Spice, mushroom, pepper - added structure, tannin and savoriness compared to the Estate Pinot Noir. — 6 months ago
Looks like a nice Columbia Valley Cab. Dark color. Heady and dense nose. Maybe a herbal and earthy streak in with the plum sauce on the nose. Flavors are chewy and vicious. Horehound meets berry cobbler and a bit of flint. Plenty bittersweet like a good Cab should be. Has a big style, but holds a bit of elegance as well. Will be great with the grilled steak I’m going to have with it later. A nice find at the grocery outlet 20% off wine sale. — 8 months ago
No, great pn. Pretty slim but very strawberry fruity n full. — 4 years ago
Lots of forward fruit, red currant and blackberry. Subtle mid palate. Just a nip of tannins on the finish. Overall smooth and easy drinking. — 5 years ago
Ah, the Rocks at Milton-Freewater produce such remarkable and distinctive fruit. Morgan Lee’s take on the Stoney Vine Syrah is outstanding. Earthy, gamey, succulent, dark and full stone fruit (plum) that just keeps going. This is good for another 5 years I think. — 8 years ago

Very nice to try one of these with some nice age on it. Purchased directly from the winery last year. I believe this was the first harvest after the full set of Pinot plantings were done. Definitely slightly secondary by now, but still very refined with great hints of dark red fruit, excellent linearity and length, and great earthiness with just enough acid. — 5 months ago
