A pre-dinner bottle while we do meal prep tonight.
Prior notes still apply:
Nose has lime zest, lime juice, green hay, wet granite/limestone pebbles, oxidized green apple peel, polyethylene tubing and tangerine peel.
Palate has Key lime flesh, cold tangerine slice, apricot skin, wet-pulverized limestone, lemongrass, tangerine zest, (minor) dried apricot and light honey on the medium finish, medium acid, great balance. — 6 years ago
The consensus among Biblical scholars is that Jesus turned water into pinot noir for his first miracle. This bottle confirms that, even though it doesn’t quite reach the quality served at Cana that fateful day. — 7 years ago

Always surprising, this merlot needs to breathe before it shows its true nature. Gorgeously crafted and so pleasing. Still showing good fruit, but lots of structure and balance. — 12 years ago

Drinking this wine made me forget Donald Trump was our president. Which begs the question, is it better to have drank, then to never drank at all?

New summer, new vintage to try. Pale salmon pink, excellent clarity. Nectarine note in nose, even when well chilled. Floral, nectarine and lemon flavors, blessedly dry, mineral finish with a touch of skin astringency. Love this wine! — 4 years ago
