Lighter looking wine but a lot of red fruit, earth, leather and salt — 4 years ago
Smell has some thyme lavender, gold orange color, thyme oregano taste, some acids and a musty naturalness that carries through with a metallic final finishing tannin — 4 years ago

Sergio Zenato and his wife Carla began to produce quality wines from an indigenous varietal, Trebbiano di Lugana, and passed down through the generations. A blend of 80% Corvina, 10% Rondinella, 10% Oseleta and Croatina. Medium Ruby with aromas of dried berry fruits, sweet and smoky notes with pleasant herb spice. On the palate flavors of ripe currants and sweet blackberries with cacao, spice, oak and nutty tones. Fine tannins, long complex finish ending slightly creamy with cedar notes. Starting to drink well now, enjoy over next 4-5 years. — 4 years ago
A quite nice wine from Georgia - relatively limited experience with these wines, but clearly a strong winemaking tradition. Nice and inky dark in the glass, with lots of dark berry fruit. Medium bodied with medium minus tannins and good acid on the finish. For the price - and with Georgian food in Brighton Beach - a nice wine for sure. — 6 years ago
Sparkling erbaluce from alto Piemonte. Lovely citrus nose. Tremendous right fruit - such great fruit you’d think it has dosage even thought It doesn’t. Springy minerality. Alive on the palate. Great juiciness. Some nice richness. Wow. Great wine. Bought from fass selections. — 6 years ago
Perfectly fresh and balanced — 7 years ago
On the nose there’s dried fruit & honey, yet the palate offers completely different notes of saline & savory flavors. There’s definitely texture, but the tannins are well integrated resulting in an entirely different mouthfeel than most skin contact whites. Would make for an outstanding pairing with a myriad of foods! — 7 years ago

Cherry and blackberry notes, medium bodied, and lots of flavour. Served better slightly chill and let it breathe a bit. — 4 years ago
First Georgian wine, first orange wine, I'm in uncharted territories here 😊. Spoiler alert : I like it very much.
I have issues describing the nose as it's completely new to me : there is a bit of honey, a bit of menthol or petrol, some white flower notes too and a tiny touch of apricot. Wow
Here comes a palate with tannins 😮 a strong acid drive, a good width with matter and a nice thickness, honey and apricot and then that huge spherical mid palate where tannins kick in with a drying thing which creates some asperity and triggers a never-ending finish with that dry mouthfeel and the same honey, apricot touches.
I usually associate honey and apricot touches to sweet wines or some chenin crus. This is very dry, but with a weight and a nice presence. I'm a bit late on the trend but I'll look into orange wines some more (and Georgian wines too) — 5 years ago
