Digging it. The nose draws you in with breakfast country ham and cherry syrup. Honestly, feels like I’m driving up to a Denny’s. However, “old world” notes of forest floor - pine tree bark, dry leaves, and wood chips - develop. Acidity stays relevant, but doesn’t kick your ass. This is why I love Willamette; good fruit, but not boring and extracted. — 6 years ago
Absolutely delicious, Rich, oxidative notes similar to some Sherry.

Amazing. Can't find anymore which is a pity. Damn near perfect young white burgundy — 7 years ago
A closely guarded secret with respect to the blend, this is a big and bold Champagne. More towards the stone fruit side with apricot and white peach with Vegemite notes, toasty brioche and an underlying minerality. A great Champagne for those that prefer a bigger style and I'd like to see how it ages as I think it will develop more complexity and round out a little. — 7 years ago
Grapefruit, lemon nose...total patio pounder with more citrus notes the mouth. Great for a hot day. 👌🏻 — 8 years ago
Raspberry and tannins on the boquet - big tannins that settles to a chocolate smooth finish. Really interesting - pair this with an appetizer. — 8 years ago

Plum. Black currant. Oak. Black cherry. Licorice. — 9 years ago
Yes. A descent cab with a fruit forward taste and fairly smooth tannins. — 11 years ago
A beautifully balanced, intense evocation of South of France Syrah. Though the Delectable header doesn't show it this wine is from Chateau de l'Ou and is technically an IGP Côtes Catalanes. Think Northern Rhône on steroids - less minerality but more fruit - cassis, blackberry, mocha and exceptional depth. Very long finish as well and still a few years to grow. Stunning — 6 years ago
2010 vintage opened on 10/31/2017 LOTS of currant on the end, earthy, rich well rounded. Worth the wait — 7 years ago
Not as fruit juice-y as some Santa Lucia Highlands. G and C both like. Mild and drinkable. — 7 years ago
Prestige Rosé stands out for its intense hue whose secret lies in the fact that it is a blend, complex and costly to produce. The blend, 15% of the best Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims & Les Riceys added to the final blend, giving this cuvée its unique color and intensity. The wine contains Chardonnay (30%) completing the blend bringing elegance to Taittinger’s signature style. Red fruit flavors, a bit tart with strawberry and cherry flavors, elegant ending with chalky minerality notes. Tasting Sample! — 7 years ago
