This is a wine made in a unique style amongst all overripe Napa wines of today. Beautiful backbone of mountain tannins and acidity that promise longevity. Great aromatics from the fruit that is somewhat reflects valley floor style. Keep your eyes open for this new brand ! — 8 years ago
This goes down way too easy. Tastes like I'm wrapped in silk, getting sprinkled with diamonds, and making bad decisions. Into it — 9 years ago
Absolutely delicious, Rich, oxidative notes similar to some Sherry.

Grapefruit, lemon nose...total patio pounder with more citrus notes the mouth. Great for a hot day. 👌🏻 — 10 years ago
Raspberry and tannins on the boquet - big tannins that settles to a chocolate smooth finish. Really interesting - pair this with an appetizer. — 10 years ago

PnP. Definitely drinking young.
Dark purple color. Nose has modest OH, blackberry, and tar. Dark Chocolate and black cherry on the palate. Deep wine and could have better structure. Finish is medium.
Overall very solid, but not sure it’s as good as the 96pts. Wine Advocate scores it. — 7 years ago
A beautifully balanced, intense evocation of South of France Syrah. Though the Delectable header doesn't show it this wine is from Chateau de l'Ou and is technically an IGP Côtes Catalanes. Think Northern Rhône on steroids - less minerality but more fruit - cassis, blackberry, mocha and exceptional depth. Very long finish as well and still a few years to grow. Stunning — 8 years ago

Wow. I needed something profound and I got it. Yes this is 10-15 years too young but wow. Nose is just stunning. Deep berry fruit that is so clear and vivid along with huge florals and a rocky component under. Terrific spice and some game. Palate so elegant with massive power and concentration but all wrapped in finesse. Really not a hard edge in sight. Wow. Spectacular. Showing a hint of wood right now but really well integrated. Finish is a mile long. Sappy and stunningly fresh and linear. — 6 years ago
