Schloss Gobelsburg

Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg Kamptal Gruner Veltliner 2022

Light straw color. Interesting fruit driven aromas of ripe pears, tropical fruit and citrus with hints of fresh herbs. Mixed bag of the same fruits on the palate with additional notes of unripe peach, minerals, green beans and those fresh herbs. Nice earthy note on the tongue tingling finish. Wonderful compliment to food. (Especially green foods) So fresh and alive! Great QPR. — 10 months ago

Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg Cistercien Rosé 2018

Delectable Wine
9.0

Limpid onion skin. Bright and sharply focused on the nose, displaying fresh strawberry, citrus pith and floral scents and a hint of minerality. Taut and light on its feet, featuring orange zest, pomegranate and honeysuckle flavors that show very good clarity and spicy cut. Closes taut and brisk, showing very good persistence and a repeating floral note. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, August 2019) — 6 years ago

Von Schubert

Maximin Grünhäuser Trocken Riesling 2006

The Von Schubertsche Schlosskellerei Maximin Grünhäuser Herrenberg 2006 offers ample charm. Classic petrol notes give way to dried apricot, pear and clover honey. It’s a lighter style Kabinett to be sure, with some weight that can be attributed to glycerol and sweetness, the rest is pure, racy, unbridled acidity. The sort that ends in a stony embrace, with a dollop of schist, and salinity. AP No. 3 — 11 years ago
