KL. If you want a well priced off dry well balanced Mosel Reisling, look no further. — 8 years ago
Beautiful nose - petrol, pear, baking spice. Off dry. Strong acidity and well balanced. Young but with complexity and depth, especially on the nose. — 9 years ago
Undoubtedly Thomas Haag is one of Germany's best Riesling winemakers. At his estate Schloss Lieser he producers uncompromising Riesling from pure slate terroirs. Love it or leave it - this is Riesling from slate in perfection, a masterpiece, drink it now or over the next decade. This stuff is so good!!! — 13 years ago

Great balance between sweetness and acidity, superb length of finish. — 12 years ago
My first time with this vntg. More spatlese on the nose than GG: lovely guava and mango, a touch of saffron, lychee, so tropical and dense. On the palate: good acidity and density: sour apple, lemon, here we get the GG extract and density. This intensifies in the mouth and has considerable density on the finish. Yum. Less well-delineated than '15 forward, and, unsurprisingly, showing more signs of age. — 5 years ago
