63/37 Verdot/Sirah made by the Scheid family. This one is surprisingly drinkable right out of the bottle! But I'd still decant for 30 minutes+. My impression is markedly different than when I last tried a bottle of this. Now I smell pleasant cedar. The taste is of black fruit, mocha, and clove with a nice spicy finish. Is it me or is there that much difference between bottles? Probably me. — 10 years ago
