Very tasty and great value @ $18 from Bodega ($14.40 w/ discount) — 9 years ago
One of my favorite Santa Cruz Mountains pinot noir producers, and this bottle was a great example of why. Fruity but not overly so, rich but easy drinking. A fun and enjoyable wine that I'm happy to drink anytime. — 10 years ago
Good flavor, not too oaky, but not overly butter either. — 10 years ago

Tastes like the sister-in-law and myself have the same issues with our husbands. (Brothers). Definitely a nice bouquet that finishes nicely. — 7 years ago
"I make wine at Lafite and Latour, but my heart is at Calon"... I can see why Nicolas Alexandre Marquis de Segur said these iconic words after having this wine in my glass. The nose is so inviting with warm spice, cigar smoke, embers, and toast. Raspberry syrup, plums, vanilla, and toffee on the palate. Nice thread of smoke throughout with nice balancing fresh fruit. What an enjoyable wine! 20 months in new oak - obviously the more accessible style the new owners are going for... the Pinot the other night gave an experience, this one tells a story. — 9 years ago
2013 vintage, started off a bit like port! But mellowed on the second glass. — 10 years ago
Wow - with grapes sourced from Nutt Road vineyards managed by Peter Martini this has inviting peach and apple aromas and a level of sweetness balance with acidity that provide a full lush feel with a medium finish that has a bit of cream that makes this special — 10 years ago

Just an outstanding pour from a small production Washington winery. Gorgeous nose of red berries, floral notes, and less herb than I expected. This is a young, delicate wine that is quite Loire-ish in structure. Strawberries, cherries, plums, and herbs. Wonderful, wonderful acidity with plenty of greenness. I hope you don't love your Franc overoaked because this ain't it. Fresh is the word of the day here. This reminds me how much I love Cab Franc. — 9 years ago
Stalky red berry fruit that's a touch smokey followed by richer Black Forest gateaux. In the mouth you get sweetly rounded and rich black cherry & berry fruit, precise, fine tannins that make this eminently drinkable. Spice box notes linger on the long finish, a really gorgeous drop! — 10 years ago

Easy going and ever so enjoyable to drink. Red fruit is in the foreground with floral and some spicy notes backing it up. Balanced with a good structure and length. Some earthy complexity is developing in the glass which stimulates the more serious wine drinker. — 7 years ago
