Complex yet very drinkable GV. Minerality, creaminess and a gentle bitterness in the finish. — 6 years ago
Never had rosso de montepulciano, I never knew this was a different region then montepulciano. Wife picked this up and it is very good. I got an education from a Tuscan friend about the region I will keep an eye out for rosso de montepulciano wines. — 6 years ago

Nose: fresh fresh flowers, with cherries,; almost rose in color; light medium weight, strong strong minerality, slight effervescence really pops in mouth. Cut through yummy salmon, pork loin, & various vegetables. Downed at Rouge Tomate on 15% off bottle Thursday-score! — 8 years ago

Green apple skin mixed with musk melon on the nose, nice bright floral flavors mixed with light citrus on the palate. — 8 years ago
Strawberries, raspberries, and a hint of rubber tree. Fresh and lively. Short on lived on my tongue, disappeared like a cab franc might. — 5 years ago
Cheap and frikkin delish 🤤 — 5 years ago
Nice fruitiness and bit of residual sugar here at 9% Alc. Juicy with ripe citrus and stone fruit.
Just lacking some of the acidic tension and verve I crave. But for $12?!? What’s not to love about the undervaluation of German Riesling? — 6 years ago
Delicious, almost a bit fizzy. Purchased at Bar & Garden in Culver City, drank at home with a caprese and steak with herb salsa. — 6 years ago

Concentrated, long and lasting. Dark ripe black plums and cherries, chocolate, smoke, pepper. Tannins are velvety. No restraint whatsoever. — 8 years ago
Fresh blackberries, blueberries, dried oregano, dried thyme, graphite. Snapping rounded acidity/minimal smooth velvet tannin presence, juicy-silky texture, light-medium bodied, fruity-smoky finish. Highly aromatic, mineral driven, softer, more approachable interpretation of Dolcetto. Perfect weekday wine. — 8 years ago

Slight funk on the nose with hints of mushrooms. Leathery with slight acid to finish. Not much tannins so really good with light beef dishes (carpaccio and Tartarus, etc…). Good wine to have for dinner parties. — 4 years ago
