1992. Would have been better 5 yrs ago but still very nice with dried more than fresh fruit (prune/raisin more than plum/ grape) but still a touch of tannin on first opening. Definite cedary Napa dust gives a bit of structure. — 11 years ago

Absolute treat to have a 1977 next to a 2009. 77 was smooth with little fruit but paired beautifully with the filet. '09 was still fruit forward and jammed some tannins -- could sit another 5-10 years. — 8 years ago

Beautiful and silky with chocolate and blueberry torte notes. Tea and earth on the back palette. The tannins are still big but harmonious and the finish is long while taking on floral and raspberry flavors. Fantastic. — 10 years ago
