WOTN-> this absolutely crushed it tonight. Destroyed it's competition. Thank God that I poured it after the Jarvis. No one would've wanted to drink the Jarvis thereafter. Everything that you've come to expect from an incredible Celia Welch wine. Bravo!!! If I could post a picture of a mic drop in right now I would! Perfect pair with wild king salmon! Hint of cherries with silky finish. Thank you Ron Barrington. — 10 years ago
@Carl Fischer Christine knew that we would all get along as soon as you walked in with this beauty in New York earlier this year!!! It's one of her favorites!!! Truly A phenomenal example of a great Napa cab. This is firing on all cylinders. I still have a dozen left in my cellar and can't wait to see the evolution that they will take in the next 15 years. Winner, winner chicken dinner! Great minds think a like Carl! LOL we must've had 60 bottles of wine that night and I still remember Christine saying "I really like that wine" when you walked in the door with that bottle! LOL The entire WNH @Joe Lucca @Mike Rowe @David L @Ron R would've had an incredible time this evening. We can't wait to see you within the near future! — 8 years ago

As we all know., Ron is insanely great at posting the absolute best tasting notes!! I'm not really sure how to begin describing a wine that he's already talked about BUT what the hell...I'll give it a shot! Here it goes:
EVERYTHING that he said was True.
Good night 👌🍷🍷👌
Just kidding! I'm not letting you off that easy!
This was was Insanely Focused. Decanted 2 hours and it was just beginning to reveal itself. My 1st time ever enjoying this Heidi project. The Howell Fruit is amazing. Focused with globs of depth and concentration. I love the initial explosion of Berry & I think dark cherries??...,,all nicely wrapped in a beautiful Oak blanket! I love the mid palate and finish. I told Ron., if this was a song it would be the bohemian Rhapsody. Perfectly orchestrated., it lifts you up., brings you down and takes forever to finish!! Ok., I gave it all I've got Captain! 11' Judge Palmer Beckstoffer Georges III. Santa Rivard, you can shimmy down my chimney anytime with this little jewel. In all seriousness, thank you very much! Have to agree with @Ron R maraschino cherries on the nose. The palate- Getting rich dark berries, vanilla/oak. A peppery herb mix throughout the palate. Sweet tobacco & cassis on the back of the palate. What a savory & nice finish. @Martin G Rivard 👏 — 8 years ago

I found this to be a very enjoyable wine. I was hoping for a little bit more Oak. I'm not quite sure how it would evolve over time. I always find these to be a great pop and pour wine. I never hang on to them too long in my cellar.
I would love feedback from anyone that has aged some of these to see how they evolve.@Ron R @Mike Rowe @David A Lentine @Howard Greenfield — 9 years ago

What a surprise. Thanks for the awesome recommendation @Ron R. I get dark fruit, vanilla and brown sugar on the nose. Vanilla and blackberries dominate the palate with mouth drying tannins and a nice acidity. Smooth and nice. I let it breathe in my glass (which means not long) and it definitely opened up after it had been opened for a while. This is really nice and got it for a steal on LB. Huge fan of Jeff Ames from Tor and delighted to try his own wine. Very nice. Will have to check out some of the single vineyard designates. Any suggestions from the group on which one to try for first? Happy New Year's Eve to all. — 8 years ago
