Subdued nose, berry, some pepper.
Better a day later. More subtle flavors. Very good. $9 — 6 years ago
Wow... super into this glou glou wine. Very cherry, super tart, strawberry rhubarb wine... the color is gorgeous. Medium bodied unfiltered yet the color of a dark sangria— dark magenta and not red. It’s so good. Smells like the perfume counter at Bloomingdales in the 00s, kinda a leathery musky and then Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb all around. This wine is really good AND a great deal since it comes as a liter. Highly recommend! And I’m not normally a fan of cool climate wine. — 7 years ago

Enjoyed this unfiltered delete at Rolf and Daughters. — 7 years ago
Has a fresh and modern take; light on it's feet. Hot toast with a maple syrup nose. Bright fruit with a youthfulness side displaying cherry, dried dark fruits and binder tobacco leaf. Polished tannins paired well with the acidity. Supple finish, that lingers. Good to the last drop. — 8 years ago
Still dig this. Clear blackish red. Glorious cherry and strawberry in the nose. A little leather and graphite, but not very "dirty." Crisp acid, but not without balancing sweetness and brisk tannins. Dark rich finish Rolf black cherries and more graphite. Love this fruity-but-not-fruity Sicilian take on PN! — 9 years ago
Black berries and vanilla nose , medium to full body, medium dry, very soft and silky tannin , adequate acidity makes it very well balanced. Good balance — 5 years ago
So smooth. Fruit forward, but more bold than sweet! Rich and dark. — 6 years ago
Very famous vineyard and i think chris ringland work on it before. Light ruby rim. Nose of tea lea, caramel. Palate: vanila, blackberry, mineral, stony, very balance and tannin soften and integrated and slight savoury at the end. Cola, liqourish, v complex, herbal hint, soy sauce, bitter sweet, saspiralla and soda — 7 years ago
2004 Vintage that we hand carried back to San Jose from the cellar door. OMG! Rolf Binder’s Bull’s Blood that the US ATF would not approve. Cedar box, tobacco, iron, bacon and sour cherry nose. Smooth velvet on the tongue with long finish. — 8 years ago
