2012 vintage
— 9 years ago

Whole cluster fermented from a vineyard that uses old school farming techniques -- aka Belgian draft horses and baby doll sheep! — 9 years ago
This Dry Creek Valley Zin is surprising, made in a slightly Bordeaux-like style, with a medium thick tannic body, spice, bright cherries, and a splash of chocolate biscotti up front, leading into a pleasant tingly finish. It is a new face for the Zinfandel varietal and may turn the heads of those who are not enamored of the typical syrupy sweet high-alcohol California approach. Works nicely as a cocktail wine. — 9 years ago
