Cue: Perfect Day, Lou Reed — 7 years ago
Juicy, ripe entry level Willamette Valley Pinot. Doesn't have quite as much damp, earthy character as I expect Willamette Pinot to have but its good nonetheless; almost comes across like a lighter Grenache or a riper Gamay Noir. Sappy strawberry and raspberry red fruit, potpourri, anise-y spice, potting soil, birch bark earth on the nose. Palate is very similar but with the red fruit character a bit brighter and more high toned and with the addition of a fresh reed apple skin note. Body is medium (-), acid medium (+), tannin fine grained and of low intensity. Great daily drinker, simple but fresh and tasty. — 8 years ago

Clone from Loire valley. Very tasty. Supply and demand has brought this from $45 to $85 — 5 years ago

Nice skin contact, a little Madeira-y. From reed street. — 6 years ago
Phenomenal. Frank Reed opened this up to share with us + wild mishroom risotto and antipasti galore. Earthy glory. — 7 years ago
This is one of the most purely delicious spirits I've tasted in quite some time. Bourbon-like vanilla and cherry aromas, prevalent chocolate in the middle and roasted corn at the end. Alcoholic, but smooth on the palate w/ more of that bourbon corn and butterscotch. Very cool product!! Hope to see its return! — 9 years ago
Lovely dark fruit, spice, and coniferous forest floor on the nose. Tannins overwhelm the back palate. Nice medium alcohol and acid. Medium garnet color. Excellent value in a very lovely and unusual wine. — 6 years ago
Next level delicious. @Phil A mom needs this ASAP. Brings me back to a very specific memory of stomping grapes at sunset in a vineyard somwhere California with @Anne-Reed Angino when we were kids a long time ago. ❤️ — 7 years ago
