Had low expectations for $3 for a bottle but it is really good! Has a funny smell to it but the taste and aftertaste and body are really good — 5 years ago

Could be my new favorite - got it 2 for $30 on sale! — 8 years ago
Deep purple in colour. Some sediment. Cedar, tobacco, black currant on the nose. Black fruit, tobacco to taste. Long finish. Opened up in the glass. Could handle one to two more years in the cellar. — 8 years ago
This tastes like port after smoking a pack of Winstons. — 5 years ago
Cheap, Aldi brand (produced by Gallo), but sweet and tasty! — 5 years ago
Smooth and elegant. Acidic w mineral and white pepper notes w just a touch of Brett. I imagine this is what Syrah tasted like 100 years ago. 😊🙏🍷 — 6 years ago

Another 4th Friday for the books! What a variety this month!
Very unique WA state wine. Bottle decanted for 6 hours and even after letting it sit in my glass for a good while, this puppy was still tightly knit. Lots of fruit here but it avoids being jammy. Bold black and red fruits and even some grapefruit. There was a spice/pepper note on the finish. — 8 years ago

I love this wine! — 6 years ago
Good. Not as good as the first or at Gramercy Tavern. Didn’t use the aerator this time and that helped. Very fruity. — 6 years ago

Still good smooth mellow yet not worth holding on too drink now — 8 years ago
Take a dill pickle from a good deli and bash it around in a well-made humidor then set that whole affair in front of a bowl of blackberry conserves. Et voila! Initial impressions. With air, this sheds the dill and cedar and replaces it with wintergreen. Overall a beautiful expression of a difficult and contentious variety. Satisfy your curiosity here; you'll enjoy it. — 9 years ago
Really rather enjoyed this - good value for less than a tenner. Medium bodied, blackberry fruit and subtle spice, long in the finish. — 9 years ago
