Nose has blackberry, burnt toast, blueberry jam, milk chocolate, warm dark chocolate cake, voilets, ripe plum and wet leather.

Palate has blueberry/blackberry jam, toasty oak, dark chocolate, rehydrated raisin, ripe blueberry and ripe plum. Tannins are mild, but resilient.

This bottle will drink easily past its 10th birthday without concern, and then some. I really love this style of wine, the concentration of flavors is second to none. — 7 years ago
