Big, bad, inky and rad! Good stuff — 6 months ago
Had the privilege of being the first non Quinta Do Vale Meao persons to have a try of this wine. Probably one of the best Portuguese dry reds still with lots of ageing potential. Appreciated that they combine tradition and technology. Complex and elegant despite its youth. — 7 months ago
Good cherry flavor. Good 2016 vintage, good Porto. — a year ago
Recommendation from Pam - really enjoyed it, needed time to open up but once it did it was delicious. Dark fruit, medium tannins, black tea — 3 years ago
Clasic duro clove and Cassis. — 4 years ago
1962 vintage. Decanted and tasted immediately and over the course of two hours. As with all of these older vintage port corks, a Durand is a helpful "suggestion" but a funnel with a fine filtering screen is essential. Wowzers. Plenty grippy on the back end and drinking as if awakened from a nap-guilty as charged. Needs another 15 years to “let it go.” Remarkable complexity. Holy bleep. Thanksgiving 11.23.23. — 6 months ago

Light and fruity — 2 years ago
Interesting red blend that features the Baga (85%) grape. Blended with Touriga National (15%). Very dark color but lighter in body than I would have expected. Bright and jammy red fruit aromas and flavors with hints of prunes and dark chocolate. Solid acidity and very long finish. Moderate finish and tannins. In a very good place right now. Thanks for sharing and insisting we open this one, Ron B! — 3 years ago

2018 vintage. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Sediment new sludgy vs old chunky. Massive, brawny, pointing fingers and looking to pick a fight that you won't win. Maybe you can best it in five decades. Maybe. 12.17.23. — 5 months ago
