Oak on the nose, blueberry jam, oak, dried fruit, drying in the mouth, cherries, great acidity level, rich full bodied. Paired amazingly with wild game charcuterie and cheeses. — 4 years ago
Loved with Shannon! — 5 years ago
The cork right after opening smelled like honey, green apples, and pineapple. The nose smelled of yeast and fermented pineapple immediately after opening, but now with some time more honey and less yeast with an almost marzipan-esque smell. The palate transfers through from the cork with riper pineapple, honey and a sweeter apple. The finish is a bit of dried apricot. Acidity rushes down the sides of the tongue. This is nice with my panko crusted chicken and roasted carrots. — 5 years ago
I was pleased with this. There’s a lot of cassis riding on a bed of blackberries, with some fresh raspberries and blueberries. Some leather, wood, and a little graphite, too. The tannins are low to moderate, but there’s enough acidity to balance the fruit. A good value, too. — 7 years ago
This just gets better and better. The integration and balance is sublime and with ripe dark fruit, fresh acid, and fine powdery tannin, this will age beautifully. Seamless, silky, and long. Amazing p/q with cellaring. — 3 years ago
Juicy aromas of plum and cherry...and a little spice.
Drinks nicely with juicy flavors of dark berries, cherry and oaky-spice. Lingers on the palate a bit and finishes with some spice. — 4 years ago
A deep ruby appearance. Full of pungent fortitude fruit notes, that delivered amazing results with a chocolate tart. The lush blackberry, dark cocoa meets gritty wood notes left you wanting more. — 7 years ago
Tropical flowers, pear, and pebble notes. Not overly complex, but offers a pleasant, satin-like texture. Lovely. — 3 years ago

Smooth, goes down easily, nice wine for the price - $12.99 at Costco in Feb 2021 — 4 years ago
Had quite high expectations on this One, and they maybe didnt really succed. Very quite at opening, typical ganevat fruit, but very shy. Became more open with air, but never really did get all the way to where i expected it to be. Still very good wine, so elegant and charming 🧘🏼♂️ — 5 years ago

Popped and poured; consumed over three days. Best on day three. The 2019 Quivira “Q Collection” Sauvignon Blanc pours a pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose the wine is bursting with bright citrus fruits, fresh herbs, fresh asparagus, fennel and minerals. There is an overwhelming sense of freshness that is very attractive. On the palate the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Citrus fruits, namely grapefruit and lime, dominate accompanied by limestone-like minerals. The finish is long, zippy and satisfying. I dig this style of California Sauvignon Blanc: bright and energetic. — 3 years ago
