Black Bear Farms Strawberry and Red Raspberry Wine. Very sweet. Almost syrupy. Great dessert wine — 5 years ago
This will only get better with age and it’s already terrific. The biggest takeaway for me was the lingering taste of hot chocolate mix; subtle but undeniable. The bouquet is stuffed with cedar shavings, the dark fruit is strong but not obnoxious and the tannins coat the tongue, rather than attack it. — 6 years ago
Really light, well balanced, crisp and lightly fruity. Very refreshing. — 8 years ago

Began as a dream of 2 friends, Ed Selyem & Burt Williams, who pursued weekend winemaking as a hobby in 1979 in a garage in Forestville, CA, and made their first commercial vintage in 1981. Ruby with complex aromas of black & red berries with subtle spice scents. On the palate cherry and strawberry with citrus, cacao, vanilla spice and toasty notes. Aged on French Oak, well balanced, savory, round tannins, lingering nicely ending with some earthy mineral tone, OR style. Has room to age. Very nice! — 7 years ago
Makes me never want to stop breathing in, it smells so delicious. It's fruity without being sweet and just sooooo tasty — 8 years ago
I Love this wine and the tasting room in Calistoga is great! — 9 years ago
Great wine for the money. Fruit forward. Soft for a cabernet. Not much oak. Very fruit forward for a cabernet. — 4 years ago
Had another bottle, aged well. Steve & Paula Black pursued a dream in 2003 and purchased a 110-acre vineyard located in the Red Hills of Dundee creating The Four Graces, named after their four daughters. Medium Ruby with surprisingly complex aromas of red fruits, herb and spice. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with tea and espresso notes adding a bit of pepper spice. Well balanced acidity with fine tannins, medium(+) length, ending with earthy notes. Nice value! Tasting Sample! — 5 years ago
Began as a dream of 2 friends, Ed Selyem & Burt Williams, who pursued weekend winemaking as a hobby in 1979 in a garage in Forestville, CA, and made their first commercial vintage in 1981. A great Zin. Ripe sweet berry fruits with sweet spice. Flavors of sweet blackberry & raspberry, some cacao, with a jolt of black pepper. Tannins a bit rustic that soften quickly. Lingering ending with sweet crisp notes. Pricey but will not disappoint. — 7 years ago
Not usually a white fan, but love this. Very drinkable, not too sweet, very nice chilled. Not gonna lie, drank a whole bottle in a sitting. — 8 years ago

Very nice wine, Everyone liked this one. Maybe 1 notch too spicy for my cab tongue, I preferred the long shadow kidder — 4 years ago
