100% Xarello from old vines (about 60 years old). Fermented in concrete eggs and French oak barrels. Mineral, saline, good length. My favorite wine from the estate — 3 years ago

At first taste it’s definitely a ripper; funky nose, tart, and plenty of citric. Settles into itself quite nicely, doesn’t get flabby. Gets a little acetic and fleshy as it opens up. Definitely one you’ll talk about. — 6 years ago

Nez moyennement aromatique, vin droit, ciselé, minéral, très pur, très fin et frais, superbe équilibre, belle longue finale. 92-93
Mildly expressive nose at first but opens up, very chiseled and almost mineral, yet elegant and fine, fresh and pure, nice finish too. — 3 years ago
Yes. Pop and pour, notes from 3 hrs open. As with the Pur Sang, this needs a lot of air right now. With air, this is stunning. Gooseberry, sour apple, lemon oil, mint leaf. On the palate: great density and richness, but balanced by fantastic acidity. Mint-infused oil, lemon peel, lovely herbal notes. Lovely, clean finish. — 5 years ago
Mas Amiel Pur Schiste bio - Côtes du Roussion 2018
Strawberry jam, blackberry, black pepper, garrigue, licorice. What a nose for such a low price wine! The palate is well balanced with strong acids, a bright fruit with blackberry mostly, some width, some nice tannins with a grain, and a lot of freshness and fruit on the finish which lasts for ever. This is seriously good for the price tag (less than 10 €) — 5 years ago
