Killer nose of creamy red fruits, palate is deep with minerals, mild acidity and ripe red fruits, all in a white wine. So lovely, oak aging does wonders for this grape.
Last time we had this bottle was in the cellar of C-L, no finer hosts. 100% Pinot Meunièr (2014 fruit), so technically a Blanc de Noirs. This bottle was sealed on 31 May 2015 and bottle number 199 of 1220 produced.

Strawberry jam, blackberry, black pepper, garrigue, licorice. What a nose for such a low price wine! The palate is well balanced with strong acids, a bright fruit with blackberry mostly, some width, some nice tannins with a grain, and a lot of freshness and fruit on the finish which lasts for ever. At first taste it’s definitely a ripper; funky nose, tart, and plenty of citric. Settles into itself quite nicely, doesn’t get flabby. Gets a little acetic and fleshy as it opens up. Definitely one you’ll talk about. — 7 years ago

Holy shit. Natural. NO SULFITES. Unfiltered. Tastes like homemade lemonade, fresh honey and orange blossom. Acidity is something special here with crazy texture. Cloudy as hell, but tastes clean and refreshing like fresh squeezed juice. Good body and just pleasantly bitter like the citrus pith. Not far off from Sicilian skin fermented muscat to be honest. 🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹🇵🇹
