Very lean, too much so for me without food. Worked nicely with some charcuterie. — 8 years ago
Dinner at Christophe Coperet's house. He opened some delicious bottles:
Champagne Tarlant - la matinale - 2003
Sauternes - Château Yquem - 1981 (this was ridiculously good)
St Julien - Château Branaire Ducru - 2008
St Julien - Château Talbot - 1998
St Julien - Château Beychevelle - 1988
Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "La Combe d'Orveau" - Domaine Henri Perrot Minot - 1998 (my favorite of the list)
Pouilly Fuisse - Domaine Corsin - 1998. — 9 years ago
Une jolie couleur doree, un nez assez fleuri et une bouche etonnante, beurree et douce. Je ne m'attendais pas a ca d'apres la couleur et le parfum. Belle surprise — 9 years ago
You guys know I think Manfred Krankl walks on water, but these Christophe Baron wines, Cayuse, No Girls, Horsepower, are absolutely spectacular. Similar to Clos Saint Jean and Philippe Cambie, these wines are stunners. Give me SQN and Baron's wines, and I'm happy. — 9 years ago

Frederik bought a pallet 5 years ago. Drinking the last 2 bottles. Knokke, Belgium summer 2016. Enjoyed the 2005 in 2016. Still holding up. Still a bit tart on the opening. — 8 years ago
Un équilibre avec le boisé très réussi ! — 8 years ago
You see the competition, 2002 Gevrey-Chambertin Jaques prieure, Chambolle-Musigny 2013. My favorite, Nuits-st-Georges 2009 Les saints Georges, Faiveley, what a lovely wine! Minerality, like rain on slate, soft, velvety tannins, dark fruit. I'm in love 💕 — 9 years ago
Delicious but very heavy! Eat with pigeon. — 9 years ago
Seamless, fantastic aromatics, savory and saline, fresh crunchy red fruits. — 9 years ago

Very nuanced and unexpected. Cool weather and great minerality. A nice turn off the ol beaten path. — 8 years ago

Lunch in Auxerre with Jean Christophe Bersan, producer of characteristic St. Bris (the only Sauvignon Blanc appelation in Burgundy). This cuvée shows itself beautiful today. It is a bit heavy on the palate, due to some oak aging, but it never gets flabby. From a clay and limestone soil vineyard. — 9 years ago
Not a rosé - but rather a vin gris made from Pinot Gris. Exceptional structure with light strawberry and melon flavors meeting a mineral backbone of a very pleasing quality! I could drink this all summer. — 9 years ago
One of the better, interesting and balanced Syrah wines I have had in a while. — 10 years ago
