One of the darkest/deepest sparkling roses I've had. Nice fruit notes, good balance of different red & dark fruit and acidity. — a year ago

A first for me. Right off the bat I was hit with barnyard funk, a fruit driven balsamic note and very chewy/crunchy cranberry. Best enjoyed slightly below cellar temp, this still needs some age or a solid hour in the decanter to express itself. Lots of potpourri, tar, and herbal/mineral traits. I was only able to enjoy a glass of this shortly after it was opened so I’m sure it blossomed after I left and was cooled down. Need to re-visit this unique blend. — 5 years ago
So delicate and tea colored. Fucking whips tho — 6 years ago
2014. Not the most expressive of Puffeney I've enjoyed. — 7 years ago
This was a journey. Started off thin and watery. Took 45 minutes and then became very aromatic in a tertiary way. The nose was gorgeous for a while and palate got opulent but remained lithe. Then it finished off thin and watery but there was a good window. The score is for when it was drinkable. It was for maybe 40 minutes. Very cool to taste. Given to my friend by Puffeney for his 40th birthday. — 10 months ago
Beautifully balanced, would like a little more aromatics, but it could have been down to the glass, great tannin structure, just the right amount of oak (as in no evidence at all). A wine to lay down for a few... — 7 years ago
Лудинг.
Немного летучки, тонкий бруснично-ежевичный нос, немного подлеска, мясо. Во рту мягкое, шелковистое, повторяет нос, средняя кислотность, хороший финиш. — 5 years ago

Might be the best red B&H I ever had. This cuvée from young vines is called en Aspis 4ème feuille. Lots of red berries and high energy. — 5 months ago
