Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay 2021

Very Enjoyable!!! Mellow with apple/pear notes with hints of spice and vanilla. Just a touch of oak…. Paired very well with Salmon and also cheese and crackers. Will buy this again if we find it. — a year ago

A zippy expression with a variety of apple colors, but all are tart. Subtle oak on the mid to late palate, with a lingering finish of baked apple pie. — 5 years ago

Pop and pour. On the nose: sweet vanilla and apple, a touch of mint. On the palate: good acidity, good density, cool mineral notes, sweet apple, a touch of tangerine and some spicy pepper on the finish. Solid. — 5 years ago

Needs to warm up a bit before drinking. Needs air too. Otherwise the oak is too prominent. Lovely fruit flavors tending towards the tropical. Tasty Pouilly-Fuisse! Enjoyed over 2 nights. 13% abv. — 5 years ago

Killer white burg. Made in a reductive style, needs a decant. Smoke, lees, and minerals at first, opens up to green herbs, apple, pear. Very tight, racy, super precise. Ripping acid. Delicious! — 7 years ago

Tête de Cru Les Perrières Pouilly-Fuissé Chardonnay 2016

Here's a finely balanced #bourgogneblanc that drinks so pleasantly by itself - touch of oak, good acid, a bit more fruit forward but still some steely minerality. It's a really versatile pairing wine - believe it or not, it paired well with some mild enchiladas and refried black beans, with that brightness and fruit cutting through the richness of the cheese and beans.
