Amazing dry white that has limited production in the U.S. Thus varietal hails from the Piedmont region originally. Ponzi planted a plot back in 1990 and each year it produces this amazing wine. Peach, almonds. Some pear on the nose. Lovely aperitif or with appetizers. Small production so if you can find it...get it! — 6 years ago
Young and a bit tight today but displays obvious great potential. — 6 years ago
I loved this Pinot. I love Pinot period but this one has very pleasing fruity note. Others prefer Pinotage we tried the same evening but for me, this Pinot had a slight edge. — 7 years ago
Pulled from a lost corner of the library. Still going, definitely aging with grace. Dried apricot, cinnamon stick and star anise, chamomile tea and honeyed yogurt. Broad pallet with softer more approachable acid, and a touch of sweetness. Phenolic finish similar to hazelnut skin. — 8 years ago
Nice IPA with grapefruit and orange rind - says 62 IBU but I would believe 72 — 9 years ago
Tried a flight of Oregon Pinots and liked this one best. Even over ponzi. At DFW airport. — 10 years ago

Lemon meringue, caramelized banana and slight vanilla aromas. Soft tangerine pith, rich texture(ml), and medium acidity with a medium finish — 9 years ago
Drinking some sips of this tonight because it's healthy for the body and has just the RIGHT tasty bitterness. Real deal EVOO from Michel Ponzi's (Ponzi Vineyards) Umbrian estate grown olives. — 10 years ago

Sam’s birthday at Grazia Kitchen. We ordered a bottle of this wine. Very nice but maybe a little bit too smooth and less remarkable than Ponzi. — 7 years ago
Super rich, loamy, black Dusty berries — 8 years ago
V12. Soft, smoky bouquet. Jammy, black cherry and pepper fruit. Round earthy finish. Very well balance and well done wine. — 9 years ago
Speechless! Thank you, Wil and Jenn! — 9 years ago
Brambly, leather, cedar plank, dusty fruit, rich mouth feel, bitter chocolate. Fine tannins, graham cracker, tapenade and Vegemite. Juicy acid but fruit isn't as vibrant as I had hoped. Still plenty of density in the palette but all savory components. — 10 years ago
A very fine dry Riesling. A nice intro with fruit ending with nice dry finish and acid in balance to pair well with tonight's grilled ahi. Only 11.6% alcohol, why aren't there more wines like this! — 11 years ago
