2016 was a warm year in the Okanagan Valley.
Block 4 shows more red fruit compared to Block 2 which is blue fruit inclined.
The vines are 23 years old.
Dark cherry red in the glass with earthy flavours of cherries, dark raspberries, dried herbs and anice.
This wine has a lingering finish that stays for with you for several minutes. We pizza from scratch (our own dough) with local Matsutake mushrooms and thinly sliced local duck breast.

I'm not eloquent with wine tasting descriptions. I'll get better. It's damn good though. Very smooth. Delicious. Not too strong or too weak in terms of body. Flavors seemed balanced well.
