Let it breathe for about an hour. Gorgeous wine — 7 years ago
I like West Australian Pinot harking back to the days when I used to buy Moss Wood Pinot Noir. Tasting this brought all those memories flooding back of the savoury earthy plummy aromas and flavours - mellifluous yet with intensity and length. Rob earnt a Gold Medal for this wine at Royal Perth. I bought a few bottles as I did at Plantagenet later in the day of their Pinot. Excellent stuff. — 4 years ago
Very drinkable. Maybe it’s just me... — 6 years ago
Very crisp for a red and aromatic from the get go. Does not need decanting and ready to drink. — 7 years ago

A sappy red fruited slightly savoury perfume…stewed fruits. Reminds me of those Western Australia Pinot characteristics. I used to buy Moss Wood Pinot where the fruit came from Pemberton if I recall correctly. This WA Pinot from Mount Barker, we bought at the winery a few years ago reminds me of the old Moss Wood Pinots. I don’t think this is a cellaring proposition but it is tasting great at 6 years old. On the 2nd night a whiff of honeycomb from the oak. — 3 months ago
