Beautiful nose and palate of aged Burgundy -- red fruit, mushrooms, truffles, forest floor. Just awesome. From Danny Haas at dinner with Guillaume from Louis Michel... — 11 years ago

Best Swiss Gamay I've ever tried — 10 years ago
Spectacular. Nose is animalistic and musky--the phrase "sheep butt" was thrown around in an admiring way. Elegant but super funky. Red and black cherry, plum, earth and barnyard. Thanks to @Robbie Pinkas and Louis Pierre for a wonderful evening! — 10 years ago
The 2010 was showing best in this vertical and definitely has a bright future. Still quite tight. Great complexity, and well structured. Seamless balance and impressive length. #louisjadot #pernandvergelesses #cotedebeaune #chardonnay #ctbucklinwine — 8 years ago
A rich Gevry-Chambertin from Lucien Boillot. I've had a lot of Pierre's brother, Louis (married to a true Mistress of Wine, Ghislaine Barthod), but this is the first of my Lucien Boillot's made by Pierre. I think I like the quality and price:quality a bit more than the Louis Boillot (his prices have gone up since he left the Rosenthal stable). Fragrant, dark cherry, cranberry, earth, and some leather and mushroom on the nose and palate. Clean, deep red color. — 8 years ago
2011 vintage: really quite textbook dry style. Beautiful cx bouquet w the classic Pierre a fusil. Excellent attack, taught mineral palate w long flinty finish. Delicious. — 10 years ago

3L 2004 Louis Jadot Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru. K/JW Christmas dinner at Nobu. All large format wines. This was one of three whites we started with. This was our favorite of the three. Just perfectly balanced. The 2004 Bouchard Montrachet was ashy and buttery and rich. The 2004 Pierre Morey was pretty acidic, so the contrast was awesome. — 11 years ago
