Zoiks, that's a beauty of a Dolcetto. Rich, balanced, and elegant in a rustic Dolcetto-y kinda way. Pure, expressive fruit. — 11 years ago
Imported by Kobrand. From Piero Incisa della Rochetta, grandson and heir apparent to the founder of Tenuta San Guido, of Sassicaia fame. He fell in love with a Patagonian Pinot Noir at a tasting in New York, traveled to the Argentina and discovered two abandoned Pinot vineyards from 1932 and 1955. This wine blends those two and one more recently planted vineyard. Pinot from the desert. — 12 years ago

When your 2&1/2yo looks across at you and asks"Is it Rousseau?" You know that 1. She may have peaked early 2. You're going to need a 2nd mortgage 3. Her future partner better big it up on the #FilthyGoodVino 4. You've taught her one of the most valuable lessons in life! BOOM! — 11 years ago

Hailing from Gallura, the only DOCG in Sardinia, this Vermentino hits you with salty brine, castelvetrano olive, warm nuts and green fruit. Palate shows an initial burst of acidity, paired with green apple, pear and citrus fruits. This is balanced out with a finish of Brazil nuts, macadamias, and cream. Makes you want to drink more Vermentino. — 9 years ago
This 2012 is exceptional, I'm so glad they changed the blending regulations for this DOCG in 2011. — 10 years ago
