Plenty of cherries on the front end with nice notes of tea and dried flowers on the back end. This baby is not quite done, still has legs left. Tasty!! — 9 years ago

Perticaia

Montefalco Sagrantino 2010

Beautifully perfumed with spice and dried flowers and earth. Tannins have mellowed since last bottle a little over a year and a half ago, though still grippy on the sides of the mouth. — 7 years ago

Just opened another bottle 92 weeks later. Almost identical to what I wrote. Tannins have mellowed a bit more. With a fatty piece of pork neck the tannins were almost unnoticeable, but then with a sweet molasses cookie they were grippy again. Really great wine.
