Ate with mussels cooked in Pernod/fennel/saffron broth with hard salami. — 9 years ago
Very tasty with cherry, plum and raisin flavors
and soft tannins with a little spice. Great 2009 vintage. Paired beautifully with Italian sweet sausage, fennel with Pernod pasta. — 9 years ago

Sambuca on steroids. — 10 years ago
Pleasantly surprised, courtesy of Pernod Ricard Wines VP of Finance Marcus Black. Paired with my lady's shrimp risotto with side of kale. Not as big as expected - showcases the not-too-ripe pear flavor profile. Not in your face, a touch bashful. Pear skin, apple, oak finish rounds it out. If I would have a season to drink it, it would be late winter into early spring. Drink now. Vintage 2013 tasted Jan 2015. — 10 years ago
2009, Domaine Vincent Ricard, Le Bouc Sauvignon Blanc, Touraine. One of my favorite producers. Very good SB, acidic with lots of citrus. Excellent with pan seared Paiche. No oak, unlike his Trois Chenes cuvée. Last of 6 bottles. Great value. — 11 years ago

Monastrell potente pero no excesivo. Redondo. Me lo puso Rabasa en Ricard en la Navidad de 2015. — 8 years ago
Produced by Ysios Winery which belongs to Pernod Ricard Bodegas located in Laguradia. Ruby with dark edges from 100% Tempranillo grapes, 30 year-old vines, and aged in French and Hungarian oak. Aromas of black fruit and spice. On the palate blackberry and cherry flavors surrounded by integrated fine tannins. Almost creamy on the finish ending with some cacao and oak notes. — 9 years ago

Perfect with #iberico pork. #priorat #garnachalover #garnachapower #garnacha @Ricard Rofes well done. Massive bottle. I love the bottle at the same time as I feel it's not very ecological. Some nice floral notes on the nose and a lovely grainy texture with ripe tannins on the palate. Definitely a wine that can age for decades. — 8 years ago
Fruit loop. A little oxidative. Long finish. — 9 years ago
Best one of these I have opened. Clean and fresh for low SO2 wine. Nose is underbrush and Pernod-like. Bright cherry and anise flavors. Mint and rosemary. High acid profile was totally unexpected. Some VA and a wild edge to this. It changes in the glass quite a lot. The alcohol is very noticeable. — 9 years ago

2008, Domaine Vincent Ricard, Les Trois Chenes, Touraine, Sauvignon Blanc. One of my favorite SB. A little past it's prime but still has lots of primary citrus. Touraine is about a 3 hour drive west of Sancerre. Vincent Ricard has a good lineup of wines. I also like his Gamay/PN blend. — 11 years ago
