nice wine, smooth, nice fruit undertones and some pepper spice. enjoyed for Christmas dinner with smoked ribs and pinwheel steaks. — 10 years ago
Fruity with black currants and raspberries as well as herbal spicy notes. Spicy arrival with pepper and licorice. Sweetness from prunes and raisins but also some brown sugar coming through. Get some raw bitterness towards the end and the tannins appear. Absolutely stunning! — 8 years ago
Always a save bet, unfortunately so hard to get. In a great spot at the moment. Cherry, herbs and just a hint of green pepper on the cool & elegant nose. Nicely integrated tannins & acidity. Medium+ finish. — 9 years ago
Vanilla and spice nose. Well rounded berry flavor with hints of spice. Long satisfying finish. Great wine. Had it in Austin for New Years. — 10 years ago
Old world savory Syrah. Lots of black pepper. Dark fruit. Little bit of funk/barnyard. What's not to like? — 8 years ago
Dark color with green pepper full fruit and saddle leather. Acid a bit dominating. Will give it a year or two. — 9 years ago
Cherry, black currant, vanilla, earth, hints of oak and bell pepper. On the palate, cherry, ripe berries and balanced oak. Medium body. Medium, balanced tannins. Stays on the palate. — 10 years ago
