Compared side by side to the '13 Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast PN, this wine is a little funkier on the nose, drier in mouthfeel, and reveals less oak spice but a touch more heat on finish. (And its a better value🍷 for half the 💵 .) — 9 years ago
Very similar to Patz &Hall at a value price — 10 years ago
First Bevan PN. I drink a fair amount of PN. Not much different than the Patz & Hall PN. Gamey meat on the nose and plum paste. Nice. Lush full throttle mouthfeel, reminds me of the Pisoni fruit-wild berries, mocha makes a nicely layered profile across the palate. The finish is the show, and it's big. Tannins integrate masterful flashing minerals and smoked berries. — 7 years ago
Worth putting down. More concentration than zip. Intense pear action with a great dancing minerality. Layers of mandarin and lemony cream. Great creamy mouthfeel. If you close your eyes, you can smell the eucalyptus trees from the property. — 9 years ago
Love it more than any of the other single vineyards I tried from Patz and Hall. Excellent balance and transparency. — 10 years ago
Delicate and intense at the same time. I appreciate the restraint and the quality of the fruit here is phenomenal. Smooth and silky with wild berries. This wine beckons you to come back for another sip. Patz and Hall doesn't disappoint. — 8 years ago
Deep gold. Hazelnut, passion fruit, mango, apple turnover. Oxidized, but still enjoyable. Medium acidity, medium sugar — 8 years ago
A very pretty way to start the day! #sonomahouston #winetrip — 9 years ago
Lots of body for an 06. Still has a few more year to age. Nice age on the nose...kinda old world and light cigar wrapper flavor that lasts for a long time. — 9 years ago
A Champagne toast at Patz & Hall! — 10 years ago
Russelton Handleberry
Early peak at '15. Will be hard to beat This wine for P&H. Salty, concentrated. Oak is well integrated. Tons of lemon peel, lemon oil, brûlée, fresh flowers, and great structure. Will reorder. — 7 years ago
