Wow I enjoyed this. A great find. Went perfectly with steaks. — 7 years ago
Medium translucent ruby in color. Aromas of raspberry, root beer, cinnamon, caramel, and crème brûlée. Concentrated on the palate but with good acidity and flavors of raspberries and licorice leading to a long finish featuring fine grained tannins. Made with only 2% whole clusters then aged 15 months in 44% new French oak. Typical Russian River Valley fruit done up in Kosta Browne style. 14.3% ABV. — 7 years ago
I love this. Fantastic. Aromas of cinnamon and roots. On the palate its lovely, spicy and savory. To Dionysos! And his mother Semelee, this wine is from her home. — 7 years ago
My first $30 Pinot. I wasn’t blown away but I drink cabs usually. I’m sure my expectations were off — 8 years ago

Delicious, and a bit on the feminine side with less richness and body as in other editions, which I thought was interesting given the composition. Crowd favorite. — 7 years ago

Nightcap. Carmel. Vanilla. Viva la 🇲🇽 — 7 years ago
Blend of 44 Merlot, 34 Cab Sauvignon, and the rest Cab Franc. Good wine, but I was expecting more complexity from this single vineyard blend. Nose of currants, chocolate, and spice. Palate delivers plush red fruit with some smokey oak. Tannins are fairly smooth but could use some age. 2013 vintage on Aug 30, 2018 — 7 years ago
Smooth and silky, light tannins, heavy plumb and blackberry....delicious — 8 years ago
Didn’t realize I could like a California Chardonnay this much. Great minerality — 8 years ago

Coast Guard House $44. Corinna & I enjoyed 9/14/17. Retail $30. Wine.com $20. Year: 2014 — 8 years ago
Bordeaux blend; 44% Cab Sauv, 33% Merlot with Syrah, Malbec, and Cab Franc. Dried red and black fruit, wild herbs, soft and well integrated tannins. Low alcohol for new world, but I like that. It's showing well but any more time and it will probably start to deteriorate. — 9 years ago

This wine was made the year we got married. We bought it on our second wedding anniversary and opened it on our fifth. It aged very well. It has a beautiful balance of sweetness and acidity with a hint of toasted oak and a nice buttery mouth feel. — 6 years ago
