En mag, good, really good #wine for a 44 year old Bordeaux.

A nose with a scent of black currant and poetry. Half bottle, hit it’s peak relatively fast after decanting with a deep and sensual fullness. 30 min in - moved into a flatter - more mid-tone range. Fantastic value for what is is.

Incredible, the fruit here is so vibrant after 2-3 hrs. The Terroir remains vivid. Long finish. That good!

Beautiful and complex--dried fruits (cherries and blackberry), fresh strawberries, mushrooms, dried herbs, leather, and roasted coffee all beautifully integrated. The tannin...almost gone! And light in color--makes sense that people mistake ancient Bordeaux for red burgundy. Really wonderful and a great cellar find from Chambers Street.
