80% Nebbiolo, 15% Barbera, 5% Merlot blend, with grapes slightly dried on the vines.
Due to this style, it shows loads of baked lush fruit, all-spice, dried herbs, and purple flowers. Chalky, but developed tannins, medium plus acidity, and a very brick red color... I really enjoyed drinking this wine, but I honestly can't tell if it is on its last legs or if the grapes being dried on the vine make it seem in its plateau. I'd have to try a bottle again in a few years of the same vintage.

Dopo un altro anno di riposo, ancora più ricco. Abbinato ad una tagliata di manzo alle erbe aromatiche. Ottimo. La compagnia di Paola e delle mie figlie fa il resto :) — 8 years ago
Rinaldini vineyard Lambrusco Brut - rich purple color with just enough sparkling. Dry but has enough fruit which will hold up to most foods (11.5 alcohol). Decent price for $17. — 10 years ago
Trappist wine from Lazio (same consulting winemaker as from the Paola Bea family). Golden in color and deeply intense - but very dry on the palate. — 6 years ago

Damn good Lambrusco. Dark black currants, good mousse. Small family producer & for 10$ makes the whole package sing — 7 years ago
Cena di Natale con Paola 2017.
Excellent wine. Loads of citrus and some minerality in the nose, with white flowers. Full nody, med high acidity, very round. Persistent. — 8 years ago
On the nose, stewed, slightly sweet & sour cherries, strawberries, red licorice/cola, dry hay, soft, understated green pepper, loamy soils, limestone and bright red, fresh florals. The mouthfeel is lush, rich, round and still fresh. The tannins are soft and nearly completely resolved. It's right around it's peak 20 years down the road. Sweet & slightly sour cherries, poached strawberries, cranberry juice, strawberry licorice/cola, red fresh florals, soft, elegant limestone minerals, crushed dry rocks, dry stones, dry hay, suede style leather, round mouth watering acidity and a long elegant finish that lasts well over a minute. The owners are Giancarlo and Nuccia Glode. They purchased the winery in 1984. The Winemaker's are Alberto Montefiori & Paola Gloder. 80 acres of the estate are under vine. Of these, around 38 arces were planted in 70s and are in the process or have been replanted in order to accommodate more dense plantings. Oak use is new Slovenian oak barrels and 500 Liter French oak barrels. The two different sizes of barrels affect bouquet and tannin differently. Total production is 90-95,000 bottles or 7,700 cases. Photos of; the estate, large oak vats, tasting room and grounds. Beautiful property! — 8 years ago

Плотное, с умеренной кислотностью, нетанинное, очень приличное. Запах землистый, пыльно-шоколадный. Ровное и спокойное, свежее из-за кислотности. — 6 years ago
