Aged wonderfully. Has another 5-8yr at least. Sassafras and black plums and cola. Evolved nicely in the glass. — a year ago

Palisades Vineyard Petite Sirah

Blackberry vanilla custard nose with some wood spice undertones. Enticing. Great balance of fruit, dried fruit and wood on the palate. Luscious and chewy. Mid life. Craving ribeye. — 3 months ago

Yonder Cider

Palisades

Based in Wenatchee WA, not Idaho. My first try of any of their products. This one has blackberries and sage added to the apple cider, 6.5% alc/vol. Dusty rose in color, very good clarity, light carbonation. Tart, mostly raspberry flavor. Lingering sage finish. Hard to discern apple varietal. Dry, interesting aroma and tang on initial taste but challenging to describe. Perhaps the sage is more expressive and complex than I appreciated. An inspired blend of flavors, well crafted. — 8 months ago
