This is a powerful deep Pinot that somehow reminds me of Oregon, even though it's from the Anderson Valley.
Decanted for 45 minutes and served slightly chilled.
Sour candied cherry, vanilla, spice and some earth on the mouth which is quickly followed by strawberry, sage and pepper. — 9 years ago

Clearly more weight than the 2016 Helluva. 14%. Drinkable right now too. I don’t think these wines need to be aged. More purple than the Helluva. Quite rich and spicy. More CA in style. Mostly dark fruit. — 7 years ago
