Very interesting. Menthol, allspice, floral. Chewy. I don’t know that I love it, but it’s got good complexity. — 3 years ago
WOW ! cognac, honey, syrupy wine. so complex and enjoyable. subtle pear/appley notes. beautiful honey color with great texture. tastes like a bay leaf was dropped into it. so ya slightly herbal. nice acids ? over all yummmmm. — 4 years ago
Sauvignon blanc skin contact. Not as funky as usual skin contact Wines. It has very sweet fruit forward in first sip but it balances out with cleaner ending. — 5 years ago
Aroma of lime zest, lemon verbena, honeysuckle, Meyer lemon, orange blossom, and white peach. Tastes of citrus, kumquat, and Granny Smith followed with pleasant minerality. Nine months in French oak and no ML make this easy to drink yet refined wine. — 6 years ago

Earthy, mildly tannic, pretty good amount of acidity. I wanted tacos in corn torillas when i drank this wine. — a year ago
Dense but smooth. All dark fruit, dark berries. Prominent but extremely fine and smooth tannins. Prominent alcohol and tangy finish. Really very nice. — 2 years ago
This is quite a strange wine, but I’m kinda into it; deep persimmon color; pronounced intensity aromas of OAK!!!, vanilla, dill, coconut cake, pineapple upside down cake, maraschino cherries; ; dry, medium acid, medium tannins, high alcohol, full body, pronounced intensity flavors consistent with aromas; sweet sensation on the palate, looooong finish, nothing subtle about this wine, decadent — 3 years ago

A bit chocolate-y? Black berries has a bite to it. — a year ago
It has a lot of dark chocolate notes. It’s sort of like drinking a coulant with boysenberries. #riberadelduero — 2 years ago

17.5. 20 year tawny is very special, and this one is luscious without being heavy. — 4 years ago
Fantastic wine! Well rounded full body and dry with smoothness. — 5 years ago
Ratings are too low for this bottle. It's a good vintage with a great nose and great finish. Make sure to recant before drinking and let it sit!! It will take time to open up, but when it does, you will not be disappointed. — 7 years ago

Deep ruby in color; plum, blackberry, and a little black cherry on the nose; high acidity; tastes like sour cherries, blackberries, and black pepper; more savory than fruity; smooth tannins and a long finish. An interesting experience. It's probably good with meat dishes. Maybe steak. Opened up a lot after some aeration. It's not fruity, but it's definitely a quality wine. — a year ago
