Vinho Verde, rosé, $9; it's an easy category to conquer. This settles out a little bit at a couple years past current vintage. Cold cherry skin and grape seed on the nose. Under-ripe strawberry and light orange rind on the palate. Mild acidity is great for a warm summer afternoon.

We got up to 66°F in the Berkshires today, so time for rosé by the chimenea. Our snow pile wine chiller is massively diminished, likely this to be its last weekend. 😕
Picked up a faint toasty grape seed note on the nose, cool...

Hot days call for cool wines, Vinho Verde today; this rosé is dangerously too easy to drink. I love the quality/value that Portuguese wines deliver, $9 is like stealing the bottle.
