Way too young; opened in honor of a friend. Big bold black fruit up front, savory herbs, cedar, and tobacco are rounded out with complex tannins and a long finish of smoke and iron ore. Can't wait to see where this one goes in a few years. — 11 years ago

Earthy nose of black truffle, copper, and spice. Full and velvety texture with dark brambly wild berries, iron ore, some pepper, tree bark. Strong dusty tannins. Definitely needs food of some sort. Strong cheese, lasagna, steak with porcini mushrooms. — 11 years ago
A very attractive nose with good purity of black fruits and a sweet liquorice perfume. Palate has elegant fruit, silky tannins that ore soft & enveloping, classy finish. Shiraz as it should be! — 11 years ago
Intense, powerful and masculine; inky black to the core. Brooding black fruit, tar, scorched earth and meat juices integrate well with a long finish of iron ore and blood. Not a wine for the timid; wear your grown up pants for this one!!! — 11 years ago

Some of the more interesting wines from France and Italy are being imported by Kermit lynch. This appellation on the Mediterranean Sea was made famous by Kermit he lives here half the year and raised his kids here part time also. A blend of Clairette and ugni blanc you notice the sea a light briny note a slight waxy texture medium bodied very light and refreshing finish. Ore classic style vintage nice complexity with a chalky clay like mineral note. Finish 40 excellent biodynamic farming used here. — 12 years ago
