Our 10th anniversary wine. Excellent once decanted. — 4 years ago
Fresh red cherry, red berries with an undertone of réglisse. Silky tannin, great depth which requires a good hour to open. Once opened amazing nose that takes you to another place, a place you feel high! Must be the alcohol. Great 2015 vintage for this super Tuscan. Cheers — 5 years ago
A blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Merlot, blended then aged for 24 months in 50% new and 50% once-used American oak. Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruit, licorice and minty floral notes. The palate beautifully displays rich ripe blackberry and black cherry, a hint of sweetness, vivid acidity and the right touch of toasty vanilla oak, still youthful in development. The wine has nicely integrated tannins, still holds some grip on a long finish which should give way to let this wine age for the next decade+. Excellent, Tasting Sample! — 6 years ago
Nice wine...still very young. Lots of tannins-practically chewing on wood for a while. Fantastic once it opened up. It was particularly amazing with cheese tonight! — 8 years ago
Multilayered and changes once the wine gets some time to breath. So smooth, rich and creamy. Dark fruits and great with a meal. One of my top 10 favorite wines — 9 years ago
Funky at first but subsequently blown away. Fresh, leathery, flowery, with some structure. Can tell it was once a great bottling. A bit long over due. — 9 years ago
Rayas on mushrooms. Once the slightly reductive natty blows off, it’s a tender, detailed and savory Garnacha of real class. Heard a lot about Comando G, and my first experience with their wines did not disappoint. — 6 years ago
The 2004 Dom Perignon Champagne is sinfully good at fifteen years of age. Showing off its downright sexy golden hue, the wine evolves quickly once in the glass displaying a dazzling array of aromatics, from orchard fruits to peat moss and toasty brioche as well as shades of salted Marcona almond that all nicely meld together. The palate yields a wonderful combination of richness and tension. There is a lovely ripe, almost unctuous texture to this aged Champagne. Flavors of salted macadamia nut, ripe pear, kumquat zest and shades of Shiitake mushroom with lighter biscuit undertones all combine brilliantly. This is a satisfying, downright hedonistic champagne that will be extremely long-lived. Drink 2019-2040- 97 — 6 years ago

Once in a lifetime wine... so lucky to have tasted this — 9 years ago
A high acid on the finish but this will be a great wine once it has time to fully resolve itself. — 9 years ago
Once a year a bottle of (Ridge) "Geyserville". :) Unfortunately this one is my last from vintage of 2016. — 3 years ago
A once beautiful wine, slightly faded at 20 years out. Still loads of ripe red fruit and elegance, but it was all high and mid notes with little bass and just a hint of pruning. Still made for a nice night. — 4 years ago
Long, mint and cinnamon. Once in a while it is nice to feel like you are drinking a great bottle at exactly the right time. — 6 years ago
2013 tasted very nice tonight. Put in freezer to give a little chill and left in too long so got too cold. Once warmed up it was delicious. Wish I had more. — 9 years ago
This is definitely a great bottle. High alcohol but once it opens up the bouquet is marvelous; Vanilla, baking spices, fresh berries and cream. All upfront taste... bright fruit, berries, orange notes, red apple skin, medium-high tannins but all upfront clean finish, surprisingly light body. I would recommend this wine and would be an easy seller with a decent price point. — 9 years ago

After 20 years, it still took extensive decanting to soften the initially gripping tannins. Once it did, beautiful dark fruits came through. Black currants, stewed prunes, delicious and full on the palate. Outstanding. Paired well with Brie and beef chow fun!! — a year ago
