a.k.a. Restoration White. Olsen Ranch Vineyard, 100 cases made. Pale yellow, very good clarity. Floral, stone fruit and sulfite notes in nose. Heavier mouthfeel. Dry. Citrus, stone and tropical fruit flavors, some minerality, slight skin astringency in finish. Lemon-lime aftertaste. Complex, elegant. Website also mentions lees contact, but it's subtle. — 6 years ago
Another above-the-fold headline scoop from "Superman's Pal"! This is a dense, jammy blend with slimy smooth body. The rich dark cherry, red raspberry, and black currant flavors balance nicely. It works well as an after-dinner digestive wine. — 7 years ago
Delicious Chardonnay. Perfect flavor not too buttery although I like buttery — 7 years ago
Everyone rating this wine prior to me did not approach it objectively. Perhaps they're all aholes. Is it ethereal? No. is it balanced? Yes. Is it characteristic of the willamette? Absolutely. This 2006 is earthy spicy cherries with lovely rounded edges. Pleasant and expressive aromatics where the oak is slightly more dominant than I prefer. But the oak is integrated the tannins are pure silk and the 13.8% abv is integrated. The finish lasts and the acid is good given the warmth of 06'. This wine doesn't deserve to be dismissed. — 8 years ago
Master Class hosted by Clement Calleja and our distributor Tim Olsen. This Blanc de Blanc Grand Cru has it all! Nothing like trying Grand Cru from the Best #ChampageBillecartSalmon in our world today! Also lucky to save a little for Villanova win vs Miami tonight! Great Combination. CB 100 — 8 years ago
Mostly deep and dark, with some dried red fruit and savory smokiness showing through. Peppery and some bitterness at the end. Delicious. Went really well with filet mignon in shallot-caper vinaigrette and roasted cauliflower, asparagus, and chorizo. Good for an overcast or rainy evening ☁️ 75% old stones Syrah, 25% Olsen Grenache — 4 years ago
Nice tasting Pinot Gris. — 7 years ago
This Bordeaux style blend is full of rich deep tannins, nice mocha cherry tones, and a slight tingle to to tongue on the finish. It is a great example of American Claret. "Superman's Pal" has finally found my Kryptonite! 🙀 — 7 years ago
A great table wine. On the sweeter side for a dry red blend — 7 years ago
2012 vintage thoroughly enjoyed with dinner in 2020 at 7.5 years of age. Not a cocktail wine. — 4 years ago
Yakima Valley, Olsen Ranch Vineyard. 100 cases made. Pale yellow, excellent clarity. Floral, funk and sulfite notes in nose. Stone fruit flavors with creamy lemon finish, some skin astringency and mild seed bitterness. Dry, nice rounded mouthfeel, aftertaste of lemon and honeydew. Elegant sipping wine with its fruit, but just enough acidity to stand up to food. — 5 years ago
Ahhh, I love a good Pinot Noir, the combination of a great vintage, terroir and winemaker make this 1er Cru Pinot Noir soooo good. Complexity, almost meaty, generous length and drinking beautifully now and will be for years to come. Paired with home-made ravioli filled with Canadian raised “Olsen Ranch” Bison Osso Bucco. Cheers 🇫🇷🇨🇦🍷 — 6 years ago
Uniqueness describes this wine perfectly. Almost completely clear with a intense glimmer, the nose fills with super ripe sour cherries and creamy raspberries. The palate is filled with strawberry vanilla cream, nectarines, and sweet dried cherries. It keeps the Barbara characteristics, but shows sweetness and a vibrant sense of rebirth. Spring is here, and this gives you a great transition from winter to spring. I could see this pairing with spicy food perfectly. Only on a Tuesday! #nakedwines — 7 years ago
Very good. Delicious fruity finish — 7 years ago
A different take on Chardonnay, this white wine has "arrested fermentation" which gives it slightly lower alcohol - 12.5% - and a bit more residual sugar, but not so much as to relegate it to the dessert wine ghetto. The sugar level is around that if a Riesling or Gewürztraminer. The oak is low or absent, and it has not undergone a secondary malolactic fermentation. It stood up nicely to Cajun blackened tilapia with long beans, roasted potatoes, and red bell peppers. — 8 years ago

Great wine. Chocolate cherries on the nose, plum, cedar in the background. Hints of age on the palate but still very fresh with vibrant cherry cola acidity. Good stuff and looking forward to trying later vintages. — 4 years ago
