One of my favorite blends. Mostly zinfindel but dry, oaky full bodied with a long finish. Price point about $36 when you can find it. Made by Irwin swift — 11 years ago

After a long ABC period, I've revisited California Chardonnays. Although not a blockbuster, the bright straw-colored '11 Simi Chardonnay 'Sonoma County' refreshes with aromas of tropical pineapple, tangerine and stone fruits, accented by cream and oaky spice flavors. This well-balanced effort matched well with pork cutlets. — 11 years ago

Oaky, but not too much, very full flavor with a velvet finish. A little bit of pecan, and a tart cherry flavor. VERY good. — 8 years ago
